Capgras is a psychological horror, that follows the patriarch Abraham as he takes his introverted teenage son, Isak, on a hunting trip. Abraham hopes to turn Isak into a 'real man'; unfortunately, Isak proves to be a terrible hunter.
On the very first day, they end up in a big argument where, in a fit of rage, Abraham confesses that he has always wanted a different son. Angry and hurt, Isak leaves the camp and ventures into the empty forest.
When Abraham wakes up the next day, he encounters a completely different Isak. Overnight, Isak has become the perfect hunter, even better than his father. Abraham is delighted by the transformation, but as the day progresses, Isak starts to seem less and less like himself, causing Abraham to doubt whether it's his real son.
