March season

The sun is fading.

It is often easier to question the world around us than to turn that scrutiny inward. El Sol Está Enfermo is an experimental short film that explores the fragile and chaotic process of letting go of who we are to uncover something truer. Through a fragmented narrative and unpredictable imagery, it blends documentary and fiction, immersing us in the tension between questioning our identity and making sense of the world.

The story follows a nonconformist woman, played by Czech actress Aneta Hradilová, as she undergoes a profound transformation. Guided by her own questions, experiences, and memories, she is forced to confront her fears before they return to haunt her.

When we tell a story, we inevitably shape it through our own perspective, yet we always leave room for interpretation—a space where meaning lingers in the unspoken. Each telling is just one version, never the final word. In the end, it is the viewer who must read between the lines and find their own truth in the silences.
