Nick, a young reporter from L.A. Times returns to Australia, his homeland, to sell his parents' house and cover the cost of his new property, located in Los Angeles.
Through the dialogues and the various characters that appear throughout the story, a fairly dramatic picture will emerge about the life and personality of Nick: he used to be a former alcoholic, who wants to break with an oppressive past. But, most of all, he wants to completely forget a trauma, which occurred when he was a child and that still torments him.
Nick's story is accompanied, in parallel, by the drama of another character: Knighty, who, like a ghost from the past, appears to define the conclusive key of a trauma that he lived years ago, in his childhood.
